Undara to Archer Creek Early morning walks (The Bluff and the Swamp for Sue) (Atkinson lookout for Marg & Tony) - both similar with good views to the extinct volcanoes then it was off to Archer creek which is a free camp south of Ravenshoe, on the Millstream river.
It is a great area with plenty of room
. We had a relaxing afternoon with a late afternoon stroll along the river bank of the Chrystal clear running water where we met a local guy who had a tame ring neck parrot, Bill, on his shoulder. He was visiting the aboriginal people camping in tents on the river bank - they were the traditional owners of the land, and he visited them regularly bringing food and taking them home for a meal.
