Travel Day

The day started off sunny and hot, but soon turned overcast as we headed south on US 65 . Crossing Into Arkansas we continued south on US 65 and I-40 East into Little Rock. We did not stop but continued straight through the city on I-30 and then I-530 south to Pine Bluff. Partway down I-30 we ran into a rain storm so strong that it almost caused us to pull over. We continued south on US 65 through Arkansas, passing extensive farm fields of cotton, corn and soy beans. Continuing south on US 65 we crossed into Louisiana, then east on I-20 over the Mississippi river and into Vicksburg Mississippi. We stopped for the night at “Ameristar Casino RV Park”, where we have stayed before.
