Final detailing of the motorhome

Bromley, England, United Kingdom
Sorry to say it rained overnight, even though we slept in looking out the window the sky was overcast and looked a bit threatening. Love all these long leisurely breakfast’s, the time seems to fly very quickly when you are doing really nothing and when we looked outside the sun was shining.
Silly me made too many toll payments for going over the Dartford Crossing (bridge over the Thames) but a quick call to their office and the money will be refunded to our MasterCard’s. Waiting for a reply for quotes on shipping back to Perth items we bought for the motorhome, don’t want to leave them here as we can use them at home when we travel.
Put a couple of adds on internet sites to see if we could sell the motorhome privately and surprisingly we received a reply and a lovely couple who live close by in Bromley came to have a look at the motorhome, as they are very interested in buying one. They know what we are doing and our deadline with the buyback, so if they are interested and want the motorhome, good but if not then we take it back to Faversham tomorrow afternoon after lunch.
Following a quick drive down to Chislehurst Margo and Fred’s local village to check out to see if the carwash in the local Carpark was okay and the price was right for a wash and wax, which it was. One speedy trip back to Margo’s and we returned to have the motorhome washed and waxed, now it is ready for tomorrow.
It’s amazing how the day goes so quickly, one minute it is the morning and the next we are ready for dinner. Lazy tonight Fred feels like having an Indian meal so it is takeaway for dinner.
To our surprised we received a call from Neil saying he and Chris would like to have a drive of our motorhome before buying it, which we agreed on and we are looking forward to seeing them tomorrow at 10am. I know they will love the motorhome as we look after everything we own and they have a really good buy, nothing to do on it except drive it away and pay for it of course. Will need to ring Hertz Insurance tomorrow for the extra cover seeing only Richard and I are on the policy.
We will see what tomorrow brings and by the conversation and text messages we received from Neil I think they are buying our motorhome.
