Stopped at the Many Hotel to see the reflection of the mountains in Swiftwater Lake. WOW!
Drove to the end of the road past the Campground to the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn parking lot.

SWIFTCURRENT PASS Trailhead is at the end of Swiftcurrent Motor Inn's parking lot. Nice path mostly through the forest (this is also part of the Continental Divide trail).
FISHERCAP LAKE cutoff is .25 miles. Somehow we missed the sign and hiked up the mountain just beyond the Pass. A man told us he saw a sign back a ways so turned around. Don't know how we missed the sign; it was plain as day by the main trail. The path wound through the shade of the trees to the lake, which was picture perfect. It's very shallow and covered with bottom vegetation giving it an amazing green color. The mirror-like surface gave a fabulous reflection of Mount Wilbur.
Lots of butterflies, several different kinds. Easy, flat path along one side of the shore to the far end. Only saw about four other sets of people the entire time. Logs perfect for relaxing to take in the views and watching for moose that frequent this area. They didn't show up this morning. However, a deer and fawn were at one end of the lake for quite a while. Should have brought binoculars!

Swiftwater Inn - enjoyed their nice Gift Shop. When we left around 1:30, cars were lined up waiting to get into the park. It was full so they had to wait until someone left. Better get here early in the morning during the summertime.
