After a very restful night, we had a complimentary breakfast at
Farm Belle. It was delicious pork tapsilog. Yum!
We then caught a tricycle into town to check out the markets. San
Vicente is a very localised town, not touristy at all. The market was really
basic. The boys bought a pair of square pants each, Mum bought a sarong and we
sampled some nice homemade ice cream (10PHP).
We then attempted to hire a couple of scooters to give us more
flexibility and freedom. Ended up being problematic without the provision of
helmets so we gave up that idea and went to get lunch as we were starting to
get hangry. Pork lomi (noodles) were a winner 180PHP for a massive bowl.
We then tried to get to a local waterfall but that was out of the
question as well as we had to get motorbikes to take us in.
Finally, Anai and Mum decided to go to the beauty parlour to get
their hair dyed and Mum also had a luxurious foot spa (exfoliation, pedicure,
foot massage ... it was so good being pampered). Anai also had a hair cut and keratin
treatment.
All up it was 1300, but we paid the girls 1500PHP as they were so
nice ($37AUD).
The boys went back to Farm Belle and Dad had a nice massage.
Later on the boys went to 5pm mass at the local Catholic Church.
Mum and Anai joined them once their pampering was done.
Tricycled home and had another great dinner at Farm Belle,
followed by karaoke again. The girls there have been fantastic.
