San Vicente, MIMAROPA, Philippines
We left Prince John's at 8.30am (promising to repay our bill once
PayPal was sorted out back in reality) and headed back by boat to Port Barton.
Found a great place to have breakfast which was huge pan cakes, burgers and
Philippino rice breakfast, which were all delicious (900PHP) for us all.
Then we walked to the bus terminal where we decided to save on
time and got a van to Farm Belle at San Vicente 3000PHP. We stayed in cute
little huts for 1000PHP each hut (x3), a bargain with free breakfast, air con,
TV and tea making facilities.
We bummed around, chilling for about an hour then we went to the
beach for a swim. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away ... 14 kilometres of
white sand, long and deserted appropriately named Long Beach. The water was
extremely refreshing. Not cold at all.
Came home to shower then we all went for a walk towards town.
Walked about a kilometre as the sun was setting, passing by many locals doing
their thing. Stopped at the bakery and convenience store for some snacks then
we all jumped into a tricycle to get back to Farm Belle (120PHP).
Dinner was at the restaurant, another awesome meal followed by
karaoke time.
