Seoul, Seoul, South Korea
We had a lazy start to the day then headed for Dongdaemun Station where we found a great little hole in the wall place for lunch called ‘Rice and School Food’.
Next was an easy walk along a part of Hanyangdoseong, the Seoul City Wall. It had nice views of the city and exercise stations along the way. We then stumbled upon Ihwa-dong Mural village(which was very similar to Gamcheon Cultural Village in Busan). We had lots of fun taking cute snaps there.
We then walked about a kilometre to ‘Changdeokgung Palace’ where we wandered around the palace grounds. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The ‘Seoul Folk Flea Market’ was luring us to have a look-see and it was a great little find. Was like a massive op shop selling all sorts of things from shoes, clothing, old wares, glasses, medicinal medicine … a mish-mash of everything! We got there too late and they were shutting shop so we ventured further afield to Gongdeok Market. That was also shutting shop for the day so we bought some groceries and went ‘home’.
