So we checked out of the Booking.com place in Sumida and traipsed over to Akabahara for another Tokyo perspective (c/o AirBnB). We were simple supposed to drop our bags off there and head out. When we got inside, we noticed that the previous people were still there. Phone calls to AirBnB and messages to the owners ensued and we found ourselves waiting until 3.30pm for Taishi (owner) to arrive to sort it out. There was a mix up with the room as the people in it were supposed to share with another group of people, but instead spread out into our room. Taishi and Mugami offered to put us up in another place instead in Nishiwaseda. He drove Mum, Rhys, Shae and Anai + the luggage there, whilst Dad and Owen caught the metro over. Once we were all settled into the neighbourhood (a nice townhouse, newly built, we had 3 double rooms) we went for a walk to the Takadanobaba Station area and did some shopping, finishing up with vending machine ramen noodles for dinner.
