Airport Shuttle delivered us to the terminal front door, fantastic service!!

Organised our bag drop & then off to do the security checks.

Of course I was the 'chosen one' to be checked for explosives!!! I must
look like a terrorist....I guess traveling in a small group the numbers
game is against one of us!
After a great lunch, few drinks & some duty free shopping we boarded our plane for the flight to Singapore.
 
Plane was full but no crying babies......thank goodness!! Flight was good as far as flights go. Couple of movies, tired to sleep for a bit but gave up......think the poor girl next to me was glad to get away from my lurgy germs.

Landed to a very very humid Singapore. Luckily we missed the rain. Organised our maxi taxi direct to the hotel, bargain S$12 each!!! We also made a new friend who gave us some shopping advice & is now booked to drive us back to the airport!!
Hotel Bencoolen on Hong Kong Street is very small, cute & in suer quiet area. Rooms are super clean, modern & comfy. The night receptionist was great & really patient with a group of old ducks, haha.
Took a while to get us all organised but eventually settled into the room about 1am, it's perfect sized room just for me. Love the rain shower.
It was too dark & was too tired to look around outside the hotel in the night so off to do some exploring in daylight.
