Santorini, Cyclades, Greece
After another early start we headed to the airport for our flight to Santorini (via Rome......there are no direct flights). Thankfully our transport back was far superior than the dodgy van that picked us up. Nothing much to write about other than airport transfer, flight to Rome then a stopover in Rome where we had lunch at the airport & boarded another plane to Santorin

Unfortunately we all arrived in Santorini, but Di's bag didn’t .......my worst nightmare!!!! But Di being Di, didn’t really phase her too much. She filled out the paperwork whilst the airport staff searched for it, must say they were very helpful & our patient airport to hotel transfer guy just waited. (Our hotel, Oia Sunset Apartments arranged it, they were fantastic to deal with.)

Eventually we headed to Oia & has amazing views along the way via the coast.

On arrival at our hotel, we were really impressed with the pool & surrounding area, it was beautiful. The apartments were over 3 levels. Basic but functional. We all had a nice sitting area courtyard outside the front door with deck chairs & umbrellas, perfect place for a wine.....

After unloading our luggage & getting the run down from our host Pannos we set off for look around & to find somewhere for dinner. I know I keep saying it but the views are to die for. Oia has the best views I have seen. It is very touristy & expensive but worth a visit. I would definitely go back.

Our dinner venue had more views & was a really pleasant place to eat & have a few drinks.
