Wise move to book a seat on the upper deck of Lufthansa A380!!! Plenty of room, very small economy class section with own flight attendant. Lufthansa staff were fantastic, much better than Qantas flight staff on Singapore leg.

After a very long flight, almost 12.5 hours we arrived in Frankfurt with not much time to spare. We only had an hour from time of landing to make our connecting flight to Rome!!!
Sandra & I were on the upper deck so we exited with 1st & business class, speeding up the process for us. The others were downstairs & stuck in the mass exodus.

German efficiency wasn't at its best when trying to clear customs. Eventually we made it through customs only to realise the next gate was almost on the other side of the terminal!!
We weaved our way through the crowds & even managed to stop for coffee & croissant. Found our gate but could not find the others. Time was ticking away & was almost time to board when the other girls arrived. They had run virtually the whole way!!
Flight to Rome was over in no time, 2 hours & finally we were in Rome!!
