Eretria, Euboea, GreeceThe Beautiful Sunrise and Feelings .
Although I like to witness sunsets, out here the highlight is sunrise.
Each morning's sunrise was breathtaking display of radiant colors.
Bright streaks of red, pink and orange slowly overcame the dark blue and purple of the twilight sky. The sky resembled a prism; all the colors blended perfectly into each other.
The sun itself was just peeking out of the horizon and its brilliant rays already shined brightly and began to warm the air.
I would marvel at the glistening reflection of the sun on the Mediterranean waters and a thrilling feeling of awe swept over me while swimming with several other residents between 7:00 and 7:30 each morning.
Those moments were the best time of the day.
NOTE: Sunrise here was of course much more beautiful than what the photos show. I could have taken much better ones. I did not though!
Do you want to know why?
Only because nothing could stop me from jumping in the water....even if I had along my camera all 3 mornings.
No second to spare for photos! Watching all this from the water is really what makes the difference!
