 Excellent cuisine



BREAKFAST: Buffet breakfast is adequate to keep one full for hours . Coffee was surprisingly good, orange juice was not fresh of course but it was satisfying enough. (I found worse in 4* hotels). 

Compared to our previous stay, I have to admit that I MISSED each morning the smell coming from the cuisine of Freshly Baked Biscuits and Croissants. No such tempting smell this time. The freshly baked cookies have been replaced with two types of cake. A simple recipe of orange flavored cake and a chocolate one. I found the chocolate cake quite dry for my tastes, while the other one touched perfection.

Condensed milk is not that pleasing or matching well with cereals and I was quite disappointed that the cuisine continues to use this kind of milk even today.



DINNER: Exceptionally good and tasty food. The reason is that meat and vegetables even fish are provided from farms of the round area and local fishermen so everything is fresh . You never get tired of the menu because there is always something different depending on the theme of the night. 

I was on H/B so I cannot comment on the variety of lunch. Greek Mediterranean cuisine, food varied and were both fish and meat dishes on display every night. 

Throughout our 3 night stay I did not come across a single guest telling me something negative about the menu. On the contrary they found the cuisine tasty, and tempting.

 
DESSERT:  Exceeded my expectations and was heavenly the first night. I loved all three types of griddle-cakes (glyko tapsiou) with syrup. They reached perfection. The other two nights there were desserts topped or filled with much whipped cream which is not my piece of cake! There was of course the alternative of fresh seasonal fruit and I preferred those to this kind of dessert.

 
LOCAL WINE/BEER: What a pleasant surprise! Complimentary Greek beer of excellent taste as well as local red and white wine coming from a nearby winery, are of high demand at the restaurant and guests can have as much as they wish. Like the rest, I highly appreciated this extra treat.
