Value for Money -Stands Out by far in Every Way!

This hotel is nothing less than fabulous and that was one of the reasons I returned, this time to spend 3 nights .

From making my first step into the lobby I felt at home. Almost two years old and still feels and looks as fresh as it would have been on its opening day.




LOCATION: Very close to McKenzie Beach and not far from Finikoudes. 
 
A pleasant walk with frequent stops for photos and up to the marina it took me 40 minutes this time. Of course buses run frequently from the airport to Larnaca and backwards. (Ask for the timetable).  
 
The bus stop for Larnaca is a few metres from the hotel, while for the airport it is a 3 to 5 min. walk on the opposite side of the road. Taxi fee €7.00 - €8.00 one way.



 




 

CHECK-IN/ SERVICE: Extremely smooth and fast, and one thing that stood out for me during my stay was just how warm and welcoming all the staff were throughout . 
 
Always smiling and making you feel like a VIP it's so nice to see that all the basics that are essential for a pleasant stay anywhere have been mastered here.

I had a welcoming drink upon arrival, my luggage was carried up to the suite, but I remained downstairs to enjoy my drink by the lobby and see a couple of friends.



AMBIENCE: The Ciao Stelio is an accredited small boutique hotel with captivating ambience matched only by the quality of service provided. 
 
The fine taste and glamour of the ground floor gives out a charm and a very tranquil atmosphere. To feel it you have at least to stay once here. Book without second thought and leave the rest to the professionals.





SUITE: Continuing the trend of elegancy and great atmosphere within the hotel, the corner sea view suite #132 that I had, definitely ticked that box with everything you could wish for –from large comfortable bed, flat screen HD TV, a safe, luxury amenities, quality furnishings, fast and consistent free Wi Fi connection and much more .


 
The massive floor to ceiling window took full advantage of breathtaking view of the beach and it was great to sit watching the people enjoying swimming or sunbathing, walking up and down the coast early in the morning and again late afternoon. 

 

Each morning I would wake up early to catch the first sight of sunrise over the gleaming sea –different picture and colours of the sky every day, depending on the weather but every time, amazingly beautiful.

 

The king size bed was extremely comfortable with large pillows, and even though there were times I could hear a plane go by, yet never once was I disturbed in the evening. 

The room’s light was really good, with floor lamps and reading lights on both sides of the bed . The air conditioning was also silent and effective, it would be a challenge not to get a good night’s sleep.


 
The complimentary treat, two small bottles of House wine accompanied with two mouthwatering chocolate cupcakes. Complimentary water is provided daily.




 
BATHROOM: It was well lit, spacious and spotlessly clean. Towels were fragrant and were changed daily. 

Slippers of excellent quality, bath robes, hairdryer and a complete set of toiletries. The walk-in shower cubicle had wooden floor for stability and the rainforest shower had good power and felt high end.

 


 

BREAKFAST: (7:00-10:30) . I left a separate review for Enigma restaurant but the buffet breakfast was very good. Everything was of excellent quality and I can’t imagine a breakfast item which was missing. 

Both indoor and outdoor seating was available and the friendly attentive staff were happy to keep refreshing hot drinks as required. Orange juice was freshly pressed and the high turnover of the food kept it fresh. 

The inclusive buffet breakfast makes the stay great value for money.




 
IN ALL: The Ciao Stelio is an adults’ only hotel, a place full of charm, character and glamour. From the bar tenders to the receptionists and the maids, everyone do their best to make guests feel unique and special. This is why the hotel has won the appreciation of holiday and business guests who desire both the offerings of a first class boutique hotel and the attractions of the city of Larnaca; its nightlife, sights and activities. All these is what makes both Larnaca and The Ciao Stelio worth visiting!
