It was clear and bright again and the lake was like a mirror. We went for a walk down to the village, where the catamaran picks up people for the trip around the lake. We walked part of the way across the bridge and took a photo of our MH across the lake.
We then started on the next part of our journey. This took us through some quite hilly wooded countryside up to the ski resort at Willingen. Unfortunately the weather deteriorated and became foggy and drizzly so we only saw the bottoms of the ski lifts.
We then dropped down to pass by Korbach and on to our next destination, the river Eder and the Edersee - and another of the Dambuster's dams.
We found the MH Aire in the village of Hemfurth just as the rain really started. Later on a woman from a house nearby came and collected 6e for our overnight stay.
We were both glad to get an early night as we were both still suffering with heavy colds and hacking coughs.
We were both awake in the night and heard a lone plane droning overhead - and wondered if it was .......Richard Todd?!!
