Non-Travel Day

Today we went white water rafting on the Colorado River. After leaving the store of "Tag-A-Long Expeditions" we traveled for 45 minutes up the river for our disembarkation. There were 3 large rafts in our group, ours held 10 plus our guide, who did all of the rowing, all we had to do was sit there, hold on and enjoy the ride. The trip took about 5 hours, which included a lunch stop which was very nice; they even had gluten free bread go me. The flow of water is currently high thereby affecting the size and position of the rapids; but with that said we still had class 2 and 3 rapids, and we had a great time. Much of the time we were floating and enjoying the scenery, but there were several times where the adrenalin was peaked as we went through the rapids. Along with us in the boat was a family of 8 from Salt Lake City, 2 of the 6 kids were friends of the family; the kids all had a great time and we enjoyed good conversation with the parents Brooke and Spencer. Sorry no pictures today, we did not take the camera on the rafting trip.
