Happy Super Bowl Sunday everyone! We are going to find a place to watch the game tonight but sadly I have to say my heart is just not in it this year. I am very happy to congratulate Aaron Rogers on winning the MVP for the year he definitely deserves that award!

Cloudy and sunny is today's forecast and of course that wonderful wind I love to hate, perhaps we should have bought a sail boat :-) Oh well respect the weather is the theme of the trip, we have 6 days to get to Nassau to pick up Marg and Craig so lots of time ...we want to avoid the 8 foot chop hehe. Once we get into the Bahama's and the protection of the small islands it will be much easier.

Our chore list is pretty much done, it's a miracle. Early morning workout, shower then off to explore. What a great day, after a good hard workout and shower I made my way over to the whole foods store for lunch. I have to say this is a great store I know they have one in Vancouver we definitely need this in Duncan, everything is fresh, the ingredients are clearly listed and most things are corn free! From there I did a bit of shopping than back to see if the skipper was finished his work, yes that 20% of work gets in the way at times.  

We finally made out way to the boardwalk in Hollywood it was pretty nice not as nice as the one in Fort Lauderdale but still nice, the weather was cloudy The weather was cloudy which didn't help but I'm glad we went to see it. Had a fun night at Frankies Sport Bar watching the game and what a game it was, wow! Frankies is a new pub located in the Gulf Stream park which is an outdoor mall. We enjoyed their huge wall sized projector TV and 38 other TV's around the pub they just opened so were having a special for Super Bowl all you can eat menu and open bar! So of course I enjoyed their champagne, they were very accommodating to my corn allergy and let me order off the main menu.  

Great day, early to bed as the alarm is set for 5:15AM yikes.
