Turks Caicos, Turks and Caicos
Sorry for delay Internet was so poor at our anchorage last night. We had a wonderful lazy morning, then a great snorkel before leaving Mayaguana Island I really loved the Island very very flat but a good stop over on the way to Turks Caicos peaceful and protected. We didn't make it on to the Island but that was okay, next time.

We left for Turks around 10 am the seas were calm and great for a boating . It was approximately 50 miles and we took our time arriving around 2. Then it was clear customs time currently we are waiting to be cleared. When you approach the Island a new Country you have to take down your Bahama and Canadian flag and fly a quarantine yellow flag until you clear. Then the Canadian one can go back up. We will have to purchase a Turks Caicos flag later to fly as well, it is a curtesy thing while in another country. The Turtle Cove Marina looks wonderful it was marked well coming into the marina but man you wouldn't want to do this at night huge break waters to navigate around lots of amazing coral (in true Heather spelling style I've been posting singing choral beds instead of rock coral beds...oops) beds which equals great snorkelling for us tomorrow.

The plan is the check out the little town we are beside. We went for a small bar hopping trip tonight started at the Tiki Hut and then down to the Shark Bite for a great light dinner. The crew was tired tonight so early to bed and I watched a movie.

Tomorrow we will rent a car more exploring and a snorkel trip at a beach that is right near this marina, it apparently has some of the best coral and fish life I'm excited to see that. Oh and I found a gym so I'll track that down so much to do, fun times in Turks & Caicos.
