Turks Caicos, Turks and Caicos
Time to enjoy a full day at this beautiful resort marina the sun is shining just perfect. Marjorie and I make our way to the gym for a workout and the boys are washing down the boat it is very salty from our many days at sea. We tried to borrow / rent the bikes from the marina office but they only had one and it was gone already their others were out for repair so no bike ride. So what to do....go to the beach :-) The beach is lined with very comfy chairs and big umbrellas if you want to escape the sunshine. There is a roped off swimming area and really wonderful floating bags, these bags are like bean bag rafts made out of sail boat sails really cleaver idea. We floated for a long time in the gentle waves then back to beach.

We moved from the beach to the pool around 11 it was very cool they definitely don't heat it but refreshing . I've decided during my week here I will start swimming lengths today I did 6 lengths of the pool wit a goal of 20 by the weeks end.

The pool area is wonderful actually the whole resort is lots of small coaches and lounge chairs are scattered throughout. We made our way to a circular set that had a fire pit in the centre looks like a good spot for some evening relaxing, this was our spot for a later after noon cocktail. The internet issues really took up a lot of our day the wireless even with our booster was very slow and unacceptable so we talked to the office and they put in a tech call. There is wired internet on the docks but it wasn't working either, later int the afternoon the tech company sorted it out apparently they turn off the wired internet on each pedestal. We will have to get a longer cable tomorrow but it's working and our trusty Cisco router is dishing out a fast connection.

We got all gussied up and went to the main restaurant for dinner it was very good, after dinner we wandered around the pool area Craig started chatting with a nice group from Boston who are here for a couple of weeks enjoying some heat. What will we do without Craig's open and inviting personality he can befriend any group and is always open to walking the docks and chatting with our neighbours we can learn from that. Back to the boat for another round of dice, hard to believe this is the last night with the Gibson's on board the 12 days of flew by so fast.
