Hi folks,

A pleasant trip from Angoulême to Tours, a site we used to frequent often when we pulled the caravan. We are here to use the vet in preparation for our crossing on Tuesday. Nothing much has changed here, every time we’ve been here it has been wet and cold, admittedly it’s not cold but it has just stopped raining, no change here then.

We’ve seen the most motorhomes on the roads today since we started this trip, French and Belgian mostly heading south to the sun, although reading some posts from Spain it seems to be quite wet along the south coast, hope it clears up for them, and I hope it gets warmer for us as we head north, some chance!

We know we are nearly home as we have started discussing paint colours for the re-decorating that’s going to happen in the next few weeks, oh the joyous conversations we have whilst moving around, the chats also involved planning a trip to visit Auschwitz in Poland, Bergen-Belsen in Germany and having a mooch around, as we do! We will just have to wait and see how everything pans out.
