Hi folks,

This place was not on our radar but needs must and we have friends here who were having problems and need a a bit of a morale boost. The drive was the longest we have done in one go, roads were fairly quiet and the site was easy to find. Not a bad little place which is brand new, a look on google earth still shows it as scrubland. The beauty of it is that is 300m to the metro which is directly into Valencia. The town is a mix of an industrial site, farmland, some really old houses and a few new builds. The site has excellent toilet facilities and motorhome services, a good stopover for a few nights. We did the obligatory dog walk and found the supermarket open on a Sunday but no bars to drop into, oh well!

We met up with Paul and Jane and have enjoyed meals in our motorhomes, a game of boules and we introduced them to Malki , a Dutch skittles type game. Unfortunately their brand new motorhome is still faulty so they are being low loaded down to a site in Javea, hopefully it will all get sorted for them.

The weather has been great although a bit cold and damp in the evening and early morning, I suppose we should accept that we are now 270 miles north of where we were so the weather is going to change. Out of interest I checked the weather in France when we are going through, one stopover currently shows -4° and snow, great joy!

Tomorrow it is onwards and upwards, or North for us, we are not going far, about an hour to Benicassim for a week to do some sorting out and get ready for our move back home, we are planning to pack away the shorts and tee shirts and get the jeans and jumpers out in preparation for colder weather.
