Nizhny Novgorod Metro Crossing Volga River

Friday, September 20, 2019
Nizhny Novgorod, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russian Federation
During my stopver in Nizhny Novgorod I had to take the metro one stop over to get to the city centre and the Kremlin. The railway station connects with Moskovskaya Station which is the branch of the two lines
Entrance is 28 Rub ($0.50 Cad) and is a lavish Soviet era metro opened in the 1980s. Unlike other Soviet Metros like Kiev or Tbilisi the escalators were not scary deep and you could walk down the stairs.
I only needed to go one stop from Moskovskaya to Gorkovskaya which is the terminal of the red line across the Volga River.
On my return back later that day I did the same Volga River crossing.
