Off to Montenegro via Vienna

Terminus, Podgorica Municipality, Montenegro
First leg of my trip to Montenegro was my Air Canada flight to Vienna. I had wanted to fly into Pristina Kosovo and take a bus to Podgorica Montenegro but looking up bus times (which can not be relied on online) it said there was only one overnight bus. I did not feel safe taking an overnight bus on mountain roads and would be messed up if the bus was sold out and I could not make the connection. Instead I decided to fly into Podgorica, and end the trip in Pristina, this way no overnight mountain bus connection in between.
Next all the accommodations I had in the Balkans, which were nice private apartments, were cash only. I had to keep going to the bank and collecting Euros in increments to have enough to pay for all the rooms, food, buses, entrance fees, etc.
At Toronto Airport surprisingly nobody was at security so I went thru without the big lineups. Another issue is these new Air Canada Airbus have a row with no windows three rows up from the back. I had to check seat planner sites to make sure my row had a window.
My flight to Vienna was delayed one hour. I was lucky as the original flight option was only a 50 min connection in Vienna which is cutting it close and I went for the four hour layover instead for safety. I would have missed that 50 min connection with the one hour delay.
I slept for most of the flight and we had a morning landing in Vienna. My first time back since 2004.
I found an empty gate to rest the three hours before my flight. Fortunately this became our gate so I didnt have to move.
A fat, sweaty, smelly man sat next to me on the connecting flight but the middle seat was empty so I angled the air vent inbetween
The flight is just over an hour to Podgorica but I couldnt make out any of the route and we dont have tvs on these smaller planes. There were snow covered moutaintops
On landing rather than clapping the locals broke out into a National song.
My hotel taxi was waiting outside for my arrival. It was a hot Mediterranean climate.
Taxi fare was 9 Euro to the hotel.
