Muslimbegovic Ethnographic House & Hotel

Yesterday I had tried to visit an Ethnographic House Museum but they told me they were not yet open for the season and to come back tomorrow even though it said they are open from April 15th.

The Muslimbegovic House is actually a family home and hotel. You have to buzz on the street to let them know and to let you in.

Entrance is 4 BM (2 EU) and they will provide a brief explanation before they allow you to wander around. It is a 9th generation family home but they also have some guest rooms available for rent.

There was a mens crafts section outside and a womens section inside. Appears in my photos I did come here in 2007 though I have no memory.

In the grounds is where the hotel provides meals for the guests

Also in the distance is a big Serbian Orthodox Church I didnt remember from my 2007 visit. I climbed all the streets to get to it.

It is under construction so you can not enter but something to visit on a later trip when completed as it also provides wide panorama views.

I stopped by a restaurant for lunch and ordered a "small" plate for 12 BM (6 EU). It was spinach, rice, stuffed onion, beef chunks, and kebabs. Quite a lot of food for a "small" portion
