Aurillac. You probably have never heard of it. In France we mainly (if not only) know it as 'the blue dot in the middle of France'. Blue in reference to the forecast maps. And as I have just learned, it is the capital of the umbrella. So guess what...it rains quite a bit. I got lucky, it didn't rain while I was there.

The main purpose of my visit was to see my friend from Uni, Crevette, his partner and their 3 month-old daughter . So I had a quick training on 'how to take care of a baby' feeding, part 1 - the bottle. I managed that part well (I think). Didn't try to change any nappies.

When we were not babysitting, we walked around the center of town (few times), we also went up the Puy Mary. All the mountains you can see are in reality ancient volcano and the region is famous for those as well.



Aurillac, aussi mieux connu comme le point bleu de la carte météo. Bon et apparemment c'est aussi reconnu pour être la capitale du parapluie. Humm....pas sûre que ce soit une si bonne pub. Enfin, j'ai eu du bol il n'a pas plu pendant que j'y étais.

Ma raison pour se détour par le centre de la France est la présence de la Crevette, sa copine et leur petite fille de 3 mois. Donc du coup, j'ai pu donner le biberon à la petite. Elle était vraiment chou et je crois que je ne me suis pas trop mal débrouillée. Bon par contre je n'ai pas essayé de changer les couches.

Quand on ne faisait pas du baby sitting, on s'est baladé en ville. On est aussi monté en haut du Puy Mary pour avoir une vue grandiose sur les volcans d'Auvergne.
