Another creamy cappucino

Benicasim, Valencian Country, Spain and Canary Islands

Today we wanted a bit more exercise and rode down through Benicassim to the Torreon, a very nice cafe/restaurant on the prom by the Torre de San Vicente. The edge of the beach there is planted with well-tended pampas grasses and the boardwalk is very nice to stroll on – but no cycling allowed. The cappuccino I had there was at least half full of squirty cream, so adding that together with the knickerbocker glory one I had a couple of nights ago, I have come to the conclusion that the Spanish just can’t make a decent capuccino & I may have to turn to coffee cos they can’t make a decent cup of tea either!

A group of us returned there on foot that night to have possibly the world’s nicest sangria – and
great conversation too, which is the nice thing about caravanning & caravanners. You always have something to talk about as you have a shared interest, but of course we put the world to rights as well.
