After a lovely but very busy day yesterday, we took it pretty easy today; a note had gone up at Reception asking if anyone would like to make up a 4 for tennis & I’d accepted, along with our neighbour David. We met Anne & John and headed up the hill to the tennis court; its in a lovely
position, way up the hillside in an area which is only used in July when the world descends on the site to attend the Benicassim Festival, Spain’s answer to Glastonbury. The court itself was in really good condition, which is more than can be said for David’s racquet – it would have been an antique 30 years ago! We really enjoyed 2 sets but it just got too hot to do any more, so we left it at that.
