Great Exuma Island, Exuma, Bahamas
Happy March 1st everyone and good morning

Another month has gone by and we are still on the water, I can definitely say that I'm getting home sick :-( I'm sure I'll pop out of that once we leave this place for one of the other smaller Islands . Martin is coming to visit with us for 6 days and arrives Thursday March 5th into Nassau and we wills stay there we hope 2 nights then make our way over to Harbor Island which is where he will leave from.

The winds are blowing really hard today the palm trees are whipping pretty good out there. So what to do today, I'm thinking I'll start the day with a nice long walk around the golf course and perhaps I'll try and get a spot at the pool at our neighbouring resort it is really too windy for the beach. My walk was wonderful what a lovely golf course beautiful views of the ocean, palm trees lots of sand traps it would be a difficult one for me to play. Made my way to their club house to enquire about prices and basically snoop about it was very nice, $85 for the round for marina guests if you were staying at the Sandals resort right beside the course the golf is included in your all inclusive now that's a super deal. From there I walked around Sandals resort they didn't even care I was there I just made like I was staying there walked around their pool deck, used their wonderful restrooms :-) had a glass of their complimentary water then off I went feeling rather tricky . When Sandals is not full you can get a day pass if you are a marina guest for $90 all inclusive any of their wonderful restaurants, pool all the amenities which is a great deal but not sure if they are ever not full! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a wonderful super all inclusive vacation, you pay more but you get more...good wine, drinks, man restaurants, all the water sports which include scuba and of course the Greg Norman golf course.

From there back towards the marina I stopped in at the Grand Villa Resort and made reservations for dinner pool side (as I mentioned that is the only restaurant we have to choose from) it is a nice grill style restaurant which very good food so not a hardship.

We spent the day at their pool / beach I walked the beach several times just didn't want to lye around all day, the beach was amazing and huge walked past Sandals resort several times, their beach front villas were very nice. I bobbed around in the water playing in the waves that was fun I just love playing in the waves. The skipper stayed by the pool and read and read his book "The Snipper", not sure if I mentioned but this is the first english novel Bryan has read since I've known him he usually only reads Spanish novels to keep his Spanish reading skills up it was nice to see him over 1/2 way through and enjoying the ease of an english novel. We ate lunch at the pool which was okay not as good as their dinners.

Dinner was wonderful again they have a good dinner chef team. After a day in the sunshine it was an early night...hmmm wait a minute every night is an early night :-))

Tomorrow weather permitting we will leave for Staniel Cay we will see.
