We stayed at St Vrains State Park, outside of Longmont, Colorado for a couple days to see some cherished old friends that we had not seen in over 6 years.
While driving from Seibert to our destination (about 80 miles east of Denver along I-70) we came across the snow that was dumped here about 2-3 days before. Another thing we had not seen in years ! The last image is a movie to view.
Wonderful state park to stay in...right next to a "lake" with magnificent views of the Colorado Rocky Mountains to the west.
We had a great time with our friends catching up on new and old times. Now...to go over and through those Rockies !
