Caribbean Sea
Last night the Royal Princess transited through the North West Providence Channel passing the Bahamas on the port side, then continued on a south easterly course out into the North Atlantic Ocean passing the Eleuthera Islands (last port of call on cruise). Then proceed on down the coast of the Windward Island which will be on the Starboard side and you cannot see over the horizon. Slept to a rolling swell which passed by noon.
The Buffet areas were very busy this morning all passengers up and about at 9am and finding their feet on-board. After an update of today’s events via Princess Live TV we settled in on Deck 16 by the pool to enjoy the live entertainment, musical videos and of course “people watching”. The entertainment was the “Dancing Malay/Philippine couple” who thought they could leave their belongs on the sun loungers for two hours while they went elsewhere only to find when they came back their belongs were gone and someone else were on the sun loungers. They didn’t read the rules that leaving the sun loungers unattended for 30 minute the Pool Attendants remove towels etc.The Sushi Lunch must have been made yesterday as it didn’t taste fresh like we have home, so that will be off our list for lunch.Rushed to get ready to go to the Theatre Deck 6 where there is an exclusive special event for members of the Princess Cruises Captain’s Circle and we are Gold members now. When you go on a cruise of X number days you move up in card levels and receive more benefits. Unfortunately when we arrive at the Theatre Richard looks at the Invitation and we are one day early so this is classed as a trial run.Have a light snack in the Horizon Court and return to the Theatre at 6.15pm to watch the comedian Miguel Washington at 6.45pm. Lucky we did as the Theatre was 90% full. Didn’t pick up the American jokes in the early part but later on he was funny. Lady next to me laughed the whole time nearly giving me a headache. Quickly raced to the Atrium “Piazza” to watch the Royal Princess International Music Event. Deck’s 5 to 7 were packed with passengers looking down to the Piazza to watch. Took a video but the acts we had seem before on the first 10 days of the cruise.
