 Non-Travel Day


This morning we got the oil changed in the truck and had it washed . After lunch we went into
Sacramento and visited “Old Sacramento”, a section along the Sacramento River that dates back to 1848 when gold was discovered in the area. We strolled the wooden sidewalks past the
beautifully restored store fronts containing restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors’, candy stores clothing stores and souvenir shops. We also walked down to the river where there is a paddle wheel boat that is now a combination restaurant, bar and hotel. It was an enjoyable afternoon.
