Ivy Lea, Ontario, Canada
Hallelujah, the rain had let up this morning, and after fog lifted, we even saw sun.  We took dogs for a walk and to ask directions on how to get out of the campground and back to interstate, if that could be done.  Poor Maggie was running out her “Zoomies” when she hit the wet, slimy, basketball court and went skidding across the blacktop.  She jumped up like she was fine but was bleeding from multiple areas when we got back to RV.  Found out the Neosporin on board expired 2 years ago - put it on the list!  Now, to get out of this place!  Campground resident said to go right, GPS said to go left - I made decision to follow GPS, surely it will get us to quickest route?!  One hour later, we finally got to I 81 again and on the road to Canada!!!  Drove through Syracuse, wishing Lynnda H was home to visit, but alas, she’s in Colorado on vacation so on to Watertown, NY, last US gas stop, and they know it!  Over $3/gallon here, but better than in Canada I hear.  Cindy assured us border crossing is quick here, but we were in line over 1 hour on Saturday afternoon.  A few questions about alcohol and firearms, and we were in!  Onto the Thousand Islands Parkway to the KOA Campground - party city!  Giant trampolines, crowded pools and hot tubs, bikers, dog wash and park, hay rides, music, and more!  But Cindy came to rescue us, took us to her peaceful family cabin on the St Lawrence river for a gorgeous sunset and delicious dinner/cocktails!
