Teruel, Aragon, Spain and Canary IslandsHi folks,
This motorhoming malarkey is turning out to be a whole lot easier than we thought it would be, we have been away a few times whilst in the UK so it’s not entirely new to us, and we were caravanners for decades! After our trips away in UK it became apparent that we had carted around a heap of stuff that would not be needed ever again so it’s gone, it was also quickly realised that we needed some form of transport so now have two electric bikes on the back, not used in Spain yet though.
Anyway I digress, we continued to head south and a bit east and pulled into the massive car park at the dinosaur museum in Teruel, an area has been fenced off for motorhomes, and Spanish caravans apparently! We found a space easy enough, put ourselves onto our ramps to level off and again sorted ourselves out. No electric squirrelled away here, not that we needed it, the fridge is on gas and we have two leisure batteries for 12v and a new solar charging system.
I now know why there are no people in the little villages spread over 100s of miles, it’s because they are all here. The place is mobbed, but then it is a bank holiday weekend and the weather is warm and sunny. After one night and a re-supply from the supermarket we moved on, heading for a stopover by the beach, Sagunto looks nice, off we go

Hola, sounds like you have hit the jackpot with your motorhome, all sounds much more stress free. Glad you are having a great journey and already seeing places you haven't seen before. Hi both, glad to hear you are enjoying your motorhoming in Spain so far. We’re off tomorrow (flying to Malaga) for a month in our caravan on a site on the Costa del Sol. It will be the first time we have tried this (due to the 90 day rule) so will see how it goes. Happy travels!
