Hi folks,

Still heading south we ended up at this ‘aire’, which is a revamped car park with a bar and cafe in the corner, it’s concrete, it’s flat, we have a bit of space, oh and it’s free! Bonus. There is also waste and toilet disposal which makes it even better. 2 nights here will be just fine

After getting set up and settling in, which took all of a couple of minutes we bimbled off down the front for a walk which was pleasant enough but there’s nothing here but closed down summer residences. No shock there really as we find most Spanish towns on the coast are closed down. Oh well back to the moho for a G and T and a cold beer.

Our second day was a bit cooler than yesterday so off we went for a walk, further away there is some massive reconstruction project ongoing to strengthen the sea defences, my guess is the locals are fed up of being flooded out in their expensive summer abodes, and some of the little much older villas are just below sea level so they must be the same. We did notice several folk carrying shopping bags with stuff in, that can only mean it’s market day! We found it easy enough, had a mooch around but neither of us needed more clothes and we had our quota of veg on board so no money spent.

There were about ten of us in the parking area this morning and that reduced to four as we left for a walk, however when we got back it was full, and as the evening wore on it got packed with some parking just about anywhere they could, still the police came round and left everyone where they were so no problem there, about 100 yards away is an even bigger car park that had even more motorhomes packed in, this is quite a popular place for stopovers.

As it is we are moving on in the morning, heading south again, not decided where yet.
