Our favourite transportation around Paris… and to really enjoy it beside the hop on and hop off we took a long boat ride on the Seine… that is really a lot of fun to enjoy Paris
And what did we like best:
- Going beneath all those bridges from nice stone, metal and the real fancy ones with gold figures, emblems, amazing lamps and statues
- Seeing all those cool houses from the water
- Going around the Notre Dame island
- Having awesome views on the Eiffel tower from all kind of directions
- Seeing the "Paris-in-town" campsites: that means underneath every bridge you see tents or makeshift tents from drifters living there…
- Admiring all the “houseboats” lining the shores of the rivers – the best is, when you see a car on a “on-the-boat-carport”

We came by this bridge several times by boat – and was really worth coming here: and if you wonder by: you only have to come here and see it: golden figures, amazing lamps and then right beside it some real cool places.
Right beside is a building with a huge glass roof – the Grand Palais: also built for the 1900 world fair – we did admire this building a lot too.

- French for 'our lady of Paris'
- Is a catholic church gothic style

Even we are normally people going early to bed and early to rise as per Paul – in Paris you can’t go early bed… in such an amazing city you have to go around in the night – and enjoy the sparkling city. We enjoyed the setting sun:
- Around the town hall – and suddenly the figures are sparkling in a warm orange
- From the boat seeing the setting sun with the bridges and Eiffel town
- Underneath the Eiffel tower and looked up at and nearly got a stiff neck
- From the view point across the Eiffel tower where we had the best view on the lit up Eiffel tower and saw it when the sparkle got even better: and since that was so cool – we came here every single evening
