Porsche MuseumWhen you are married to a car freak – then you have to visit the Porsche museum. At the moment it is still in a basement close to the Porsche factory. But nevertheless… we will visit it.
So we took the subway and went of the station: called Porsche platz – what else?
Porsche DealerFirst we went and checked out the new Porsches: Gine likes the Boxter – Paul thinks there is not enough horsepower… but he does agree the Porsche Carrera is a really nice one – the only part is I think it is not really in our price range.
Afterwards we went to the basement museum with not much more than 20 cars: some race cars, a police car, some older ones and some very old ones.
Streetcar museum - StrassenbahnweltAlready in Stuttgart and Paul loving trains, we stopped at the Streetcar museum and this was really mind blowing. A huge hall full of Old Street cars in all forms and shapes... we had to much fun to walk around, check them out inside…
On top of the Main Train Station TowerAnd like always when we come to Stuttgart then it is by train, so we went off at the main train station… checked out quick the Schlossplatz… and then decided we never went up the tower of Stuttgart Main Station… and since it is something for free we are totally for it.
And up there we were close to the large Mercedes star – another important sign of Stuttgart and had an amazing view to the Stuttgart TV tower, the vineyards, the large train tracks and the main street.
