Mercedes Museum Mercedes Benz Museum
Know the best known German vehicle: the Mercedes – so we have to check out this brand new and totally funky looking building.

Mercedes dealership- I like this one Aug 6, 2006 – we visiting Mercedes Benz I
Today we went down to Stuttgart again, this time we stopped at the Mercedes Benz Museum… and who would know, but you can actually spend a day to check the new Museum out from the outside, explore the Dealership and dream about which one would be your new car and even find funky cool cars on the parking lot for the classic cars.

So we saw a lot and haven't even gone inside the museum

Mercedes Museum - the beginning of the car Aug 22, 2006 – Mercedes Benz Museum II
Finally – today we will check out the inside and there was a lot to see
  • An amazing building – up in the elevator and then down like a snake from level to level
  • We saw cool old paintings from the old Stuttgart downtown
  • We saw the first built cars… looking more like a cartridges
  • We saw the history of the Mercedes Benz Vehicles
  • We saw all the big Mercedes trucks and busses
  • We saw the famous Mercedes vehicles like the pope mobile
  • We saw the Mercedes cars entering the Formula 1 races
  • We saw some super cool Mercedes old-timer vehicles
  • We saw the amazing gull wing and other real amazing Mercedes
  • We discovered that Mercedes also built a bicycle (in case you have to much money) as well as the Mercedes tractors
One thing is for sure – Mercedes may sound expensive and sound like a grandpa vehicle – but when you see some of those amazing cars here… then you have to say: would be nice to own one.

Mercdes factory Mercedes Diesel Engine factory
Today we also visited the factory and saw how they assembled the engine – ok now this is super boring, but we can say we were inside the Mercedes factory.

Mercedes dealership - Paul Mercedes Benz III
After visiting the boring engine factory we decided that we would like to see the way more interesting factory, where they actually assemble the cars – this part is in Sindelfingen, so we had to go there on another day…

But this was really supercool to look at and as little memorable we brought home a licence plate holder as a proof that we were actually in Sindelfingen. Wouldn’t it be cool if we come here one day and pick up our own McLaren????
