Rossfeld Fliegerbergfest – Sept 10, 2006A wonderful sunny September day and we went up on the Rossfeld to see the airshow – because we really like them. Best of all: today we were allowed to drive up with the car – and didn't had to walk all the way up.
The Rossfeld viewpointFirst of all the view is amazing over the valley… then the airshow partially on the airfield up there and partially watching the planes flying over the valley.
The PlanesIt was cool to see the planes, watch the shows with the gliders, planes, helicopters…
The Parachuters We saw the parachuters coming down and we saw some big air balloons going up and floating over the valley.
The ShowWe also liked the show with gliders, small planes, old planes – we saw them over the airfield and we also saw them flying over the valley and we are looking down on the planes. We enjoyed the sunny wonderful atmosphere
A scenic flight over the Swabian AlbThen to top it all, we decided to a scenic round flight on which we not only saw the wonderful Swabian Alb area, but we came over Castle Lichtenstein where we married, we saw the upper and lower lakes of Glems, we went over Ruin Hohen Neuffen and Hohen Urach, saw the large Gueterstein farm and for sure Bad Urach and Dettingen and a lot of little towns and hills we already know well in the meantime.
Good bye with the hot Air balloonsand to have a wonderful ending - some large hot air balloons were filled up and started leaving and floating over the valley... and nice Good bye to everyone.
So it was a really super day.
