Our Final days in Germany

Before we leave there are a few things we have to do:

 1. Fixing our Balcony – Sept 16, 2006
This summer the guy living below us, discovered that our balcony leaked… so part was covered by the strata and then the final finishes putting on tiles needed to be done by us: since that is what you like and how much you would like to pay.
So we picked up the stones and since the "construction elevator" was still there… we used it. So the pebbles went up via bucket, the stones came up and then the measuring and cutting started… but at the end of the day – we did it.

 2. Picking Apples – Oct 7, 2006
One thing we siblings have all in common – none of us has the hoppy of picking apples. But if we are all helping together, we get done quite a bit. The guys volunteer did the shaking… and we girls did the picking up… but at the end of the day… we had a whole wagon full

 
 Good buy Capewalk – Oct 13, 2006
They had an exhibition in the Metzinger Volksband with some live music… so a great time to say good bye and listen to a few more songs.

And before we leave Paul had to admire again the German Stein for a soldiers from WWI. Talk about old.
