Made another trip to Ajijic. Wanted to nail down where to get off the bus; didn't want to lug my backpack any more than I needed to. The bus doesn't necessarily make specific stops. If there is someone waiting at a regular bus stop, the bus will stop if the person waves: busses going to different places pick up at the same bus stops, so you have to watch for your bus and flag it down. Even then, it won't stop if it's packed. You also have to signal the driver when you want to get off, or he'll just keep on going. In addition, the bus will stop when there aren't regular stops (like in the country) if you signal him.  

So I went by my stop(s): one is two streets before, the other is three streets past the street I have to go down (it's only 2 blocks off the main st). Got off at Walmart. The HSBC bank is right across the road. Went to the ATM and refilled my pockets. Then I took a little bit of a stroll until I got to another bus stop, hopped on to return to Joco.  

 It was getting to be lunch time. I'd sorta looked for this spot before. It was recommended on the net, and I kept seeing the sign from out of the window of el Quinto Sabor. Turns out it's in the spot where I thought Reuben's Grill was. So I couldn't take a pic from the outside (trees, a truck). El Rincon de Frida is an eclectic lunch diner. Frida Kahlo was an artist who wasn't recognized until after her death. The many pictures and portraits in the restaurant immemorialize her life.  
 
















 
















 
 
I ordered the veggie sandwhich. I couldn't squish it down to less than two inches Sorry about the blurry pic. It was delish! I won't describe how I ate it (messy).  





 
Anyway I needed a nap after this.


 
 



 
After the nap, and some work on the blog, in spite of the big sandwhich, it became time for dinner. I went back to La Carretara for dinner looking forward to a ribeye. No ribeye, had to settle for a t-bone. It was okay, a little thinner than I would have liked.
