Woke up at 6.30, exercised, started editing blogs. No bell until 8:00 today. Wow, I could have slept in! Anyway, it's 8:30 now: time for a break. Been wanting to go to the other side of the lake, but I'd really like to get caught up on these blogs.  

 9:30 Caught up on FaceBook and emails. Back to the blogs.  

 11:30 Polished off two blogs. Time for a shower. Then what??  

 OJ and cookies for lunch.  

More blogging.  

Guess what? It's 2:00 ... and I'm hungry.  
OK I'm gonna try this other spot that's been mentioned: Gossip's. Somebody mentioned crab cakes. So I went. I tried them. They're okay. They were better with the remoulade sauce. I must not be a crab cake fan. It came with choice of fries, salad or coleslaw. Have you ever seen yellow slaw? You know what they say about yellow snow... Slaw was okay too; had a little spice to it.  
Best part was the brown beer (maybe should have had the yellow to go with the rest of the meal, but I'm not a snob like that.) Cost: $6 Beer: $2.35  


Went for a hike after lunch. The sun was warm, but the air was nice if you got out of the sun. Decided to go uphill as far as I could go, without climbing the mountain  
(really just some big hills, but very steep).   
Lots of good shots of the town and lake.  
This is nosebleed country as far as housing prices go.  

Went from the hills to the lakeshore. On the way to my room, I had to grab an ice cream!  

Got back here about 4:30. Read for a little while, sometimes with my eyes closed. Got a little life back in me and worked on the blogs.  

About 8pm I went out for ice and coke. Walked around a little first, then went to the local quickstop.  
On my way back I stopped at the pizza shop across the street (you can see it from my room) and ordered a veggie pizza.  
At 9pm, went down to get my pizza. Then I ate and read until 10pm. Then I did a little more laundry. Now I'm working on blogs again (specifically, Sept 3).
