A glorious morning at Kjornes Camping! Not a cloud in the sky, all the mountain tops clear and the lake all sparkling in the sun. The site is very full. Our neighbours behind us in a cabin are Russian, and when we were checking in last night, 2 couples from Taiwan were booking in at a cabin!
There are a lot of Germans, French and Dutch people here who like us are using the ACSI card scheme, at 18 euros. We paid 144 NOK and the camp's special off peak rate is 250 NOK, so we are getting a bargain.
We picked up a camping magazine up north and this site has been voted best in Norway 2014 by their equivalent of the Caravan Club.
As usual when on a site and the weather is good, we did lots of washing - mainly all the bedding and towels. We sat outside in the sun for quite a while - people watching and observing all the different campsite behaviours!
Because we have been here before I did not take any photos, for a change!
