Having dropped the bike at BMW yesterday we had a morning to kill time whilst we wait for the work to be done. As always we have a list so set of to find a few things. Santiago is a very modern city particularly the area of Los Condes. It is made up of glass high rise buildings and wide thoroughfares giving a very peaceful modern feeling. However it is impossible to buy a map which we need. We call in to Los Cumbres outdoor shop who confirmed we would have little luck however were interested in where we wanted to go. 

 Having explained Uyshia Argentina they gave us a great list of Chilean places to visit on our way south . We decided to stay in Chile for a little longer than planned

Bought a fuel bottle and holder at the touratech shop. Went for the bike at the arranged time of 5:30, not quite ready, also the silencer had not been sorted. Osvaldo the guy who was organising my service spoke to Dennis in Antafagasta and decided to replace the damaged silencer with a new Akropovic. 

 Rode out of the dealers at 7:30 with the bike running well.
