Nice digs

Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico

Got up early enough to get a sunrise pic, but ,as you can see, still too many clouds; same problem in the evening.

Did a little blog work (mostly very slow wifi) until 10am, then it was time to move to my new quarters.

Reported in at the Spanish school, paid my fee, then was taken to my new digs by the owner. The owners (husband, wife, two children), of both the school and the house, live on the left; apartments are on the right.
The three apts on the bottom floor are less than three months old; still working on the upper floors. Everything is so fresh and new, and they didn't just build your basic accommodations: this is NICE! Sea stones for the shower floor! Pool and outdoor entertainment area with kitchen. Full, daily, maid service; she even washes your dishes. Full set of plates, silverware. Even a tea kettle, and coffee maker, with coffee and sugar (may be leftovers from previous tenant), and purified water. All for $18 per night. All for short term residents: they figure on people staying for a week.

Spent the afternoon settling in and getting caught up on the three days worth of blogs I didn't do while being disgusted in Acapulco. Went to the store, bought $50 worth of food and drinks. Snacked on ham and cheese and rum and coke.

Went to bed happy.
