Now we have begun our trek following Nick's trail we are keen to get down south to the cattle station he was last on. Cloncurry looks an interesting place and we put it on our To-Do list for next winter.

We only stayed in "the Curry" as our 2nd battery in the Patrol seemed sick. This battery runs the car fridge which holds the rum'n'coke & wine. We put it on trickle charge overnight but by morning it showed no hope of redemption. Roscoe went to a local supplier and bought a new battery for about 60%25 the price paid on the Gold Coast.

Batteries to power....we are now ensured of cold beer at the Birdsville Races!
