Southbank, Victoria, Australia
Lazy day today; took our first tram ride of this visit and headed up to Victoria market.
It's still amazing with so many different types of items on sale . From t shirts to tangerines, shoes and sock to opals and most other things in between.
Started off with a really good flat white at the cafe and then plunged into the lanes of stalls. Despite being Sunday it wasn't very busy, at least you could move without too much hassle.
There seemed to be a number of good deals about but the trousers I liked were too SHORT!!! I've never had that kind of problem before, sad but there will always be another pair some where else. So no real retail therapy today.
Did have a good lunch though, a proper Aussie pie, been looking for ward to one since we arrived. Worth the wait.
This afternoon we wandered through Flagstaff gardens and then down to China town. No dragon dancers this time but it was quite pretty any way.
Another good day in Melbourne and it didn't rain until we got home!!!
