Around Scarborough.

Scarborough, Western Australia, Australia
Decided to explore the Scarborough area to day, walking along the beach front. Sadly so much work is being done that you could not easily get down onto the beach it self. There is a big sand dune conservation campaign along the whole sea front, which is obviously not a problem but the noise and the machinery was not a good experience. This will be an amazing sea front in a years time to day not good.
We did get a lovely walk and did fine a really nice place for morning tea so not all bad . Had a really good menu for lunch and dinner there too! The sea is an amazing collection of blues and greens and the sand a lovely golden colour. There were a number of groups of kids taking surfing lessons on the beach, lots of interesting waves about.
Must have a look to see if there is any more to the town one of these days as we only found a part today.
This afternoon was spent down at the pool, quite pleasant sitting in the sun and reading books until the sun moved around and it got colder. Moved on to the pool at the front to extend the sun time!
Quite a pleasant time really, so not a bad start to our time in Perth.
