Elbow Cay, Hope Town, Bahamas
Good morning

Another sunny day but apparently we might see some clouds later on today and some higher winds . The plan for the day is to rent a golf cart and explore the Island that will be fun this cay is really large home of Hope Town which is from what I understand the only town but perhaps there are shops scattered along the way, we will report later on that.

We are booked into the Firefly Sunset Bar and Grill for dinner an early birthday dinner for the skippet.

The crew had a very slow day it was stormy all afternoon but warm in the morning. We ventured out on the golf cart but the rain was heavy and winds cool so we didn't explore as much as we would have liked to. We did make it into town and scurried to find shelter from the cool rain at Captain Jack's where we had lunch. I wasn't thrilled to be honest the atmosphere is good here but the food is just too old grease tasting, so I would recommend only drinks here in the future. Back to the boat there were naps and resting. I went for a walk when the rain stopped it reminded me so much of the West Coast of Vancouver Island the waves were crashing sky's were grey and there were surfers to watch so it was a nice walk.

We all gussied up and went for dinner this would be a wonderful place in the sunshine the sunset would be amazing. The food was delicious and a fairly good wine list, the restaurant will pick you up and take you home in their 6 seater golf cart so that was nice.

Early to bed for all.
