Hope Town, Out Islands, Bahamas
Good morning

Another Saturday has arrived on the water it's hard to believe it is February 6th already! Our weather is changing and getting a bit stormy I'm so thankful for our last week of sunshine . So the plan is to move back over to Hope Town for a couple of days we need a protected marina for the storm that is brewing for this afternoon and tomorrow. We could stay here but the Superbowl party at the other marina tomorrow will be better :-)

The men were hoping to go out on a guided fishing trip this afternoon but not sure with the winds kicking up if that will happen I hope it does I know they will love it. We will eat fish on board either way we still have Mahi Mahi ready from the local fisherman in our fridge ready for the eating.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

As we were heading out to try the golf cart tour of the Island again we met our dock neighbours, Pat and Cat they own a 57 foot Marlow troller style boat it was just beautiful. They had custom designed it and were very gracious to give us a tour it is really spacious inside with all the bells and whistles . I've mentioned this before but I'll do it again boaters are the friendliest nicest people.

After our tour we hopped onto our cart and bombed around the Island it really is a well kept pretty place every time I walk around it I see knew things. You are not allowed to take your cart into the main town so you park it and walk a much dryer walk than yesterday which was nice. People were all over and they had a very tiny farmers market so Julie and and jumped at the opportunity to buy some fresh greens and some tai noodle salad for lunch. The local coffee shop didn't disappoint us with amazing coffee the best decaf I've tasted on the trip.

Back at the boat we got tucked in for our short cruise back over the Hope Town as we arrive at the marina a squall came in and we just got soaked to the skin when it rains here it rains! After we were all organized Julie and I did a great boot camp style workout on board the boat it's amazing what you can do in a small area. We went for a short walk to try and find some sour oranges to make more of new signature drink a Nido Sour, soda water, rum, agave and sour oranges...apparently Lubber Cay has lots so we will have to make our way there at some point. Dinner on the boat was out of this world we are really creating some fun gourmet meals, Wayne is an excellent fish cook.

Hearts was the game of the night Julie was the winner and yes the skippet was the loser my luck at games on this trip has not been good I'm happy we are not in Vegas hehe. Julie sent me some of her photo's so I'll post them here they are random shots from our time with them so far.

Lights out at 11 another great packed full day.
