Great Guana Cay, Hope Town, Bahamas
It's the crews last full day here the winds are calm and the sun is shining. The plan is to get on the water today do some snorkeling and anchor somewhere. We will come back early tomorrow morning and get ready for Julie and Wayne to arrive at noon.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++

Oh what a day we had it was filled with all things boaters love, calm water, sunshine, snorkeling, great anchorage to watch the sunset .

The cruising was wonderful as the winds were light, there were a few swells to deal with as we crossed to the outside in search of a great snorkel experience. Our first snorkel was at Fowl Cay a good sized ledge, it was good but not as much choral as we would have thought and mostly smaller fish but lots of schools of fish which are fun to swim through, the highlight there was a barracuda he was smaller in size but they are so creepy. We pulled anchor and made our way over to what I'd like to call "dingy beach", this is the location of my dingy accident last year we set an anchor and I jumped in to access the snorkeling not much to see so we moved the boat closer to the beach and swam in. The exit onto the beach was a bit wavy and yep I was rolled into the sand, I was fine but rolling around in the sand is really a drag hehe. We enjoyed a walk in the sunshine then went back in to swim out to a choral head and follow it back to the boat, the snorkel was amazing we saw so many great fish, Trumpet, parrot, trunk fish, grouper, barracuda and so much more it was the highlight for sure . We tried to catch our dinner and enjoyed fishing for a while but no luck the fish were not bitting. After a very successful anchoring we set up quickly to enjoy appy's and the sunset on the cockpit. We were sitting enjoying the amazing sunset and a bunch of dancing happy dolphins swam near us there were several of them it was truly stunning to see them in the sunset.

We managed to do a really great job finishing up our provisions, olives and dip for an appy, chicken with roasted golden beats, carrots and mashed sweet potatoes with a green salad it was amazing! Followed by you guested it dice game, the Gibson's were the big winners of this trip winning by one game.

Early to bed by 10 we were all very tired after lots of swimming and sunshine :-)

I posted one picture but hot spotting off my phone is not ideal for uploading it's fast but uses a lot of data I will keep trying for the pictures I know that I'm days behind.
